NITRO BOATS

Over Christmas the NSW Model Power Boat club held a sanctioned event at Penrith regatta centre with USA and NZ competitors entered. Over the 7 days of racing the temperature reached 38 C , humidity 100%. I came first in 67 and 21 class and 3rd in 90 class. Using AT Racing fuels I had the edge over the rest. Thanks for your support. Phil Redhouse

2007 AT RACING AARCMCC IC ON ROAD AUSTRALIAN NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS

For this race meeting We decided that Steven would run the Motonica 1/8th scale car and Peter would run Nitro Pro Touring car. Steven had not run the car untill this meeting as he recieved it 3 days before the race meeting, Steven practiced on Friday and showed the amount of potential in the Motonica car setting some very fast lap times. Steven took TQ on the Saturday with an amazing 15 second lead. He then went on to the final on Sunday. After the second lap he had a 3 second lead on Jessie Davis and then went on the win by 2 laps even after stopping in the middle of the race and losing his 3 and a half lap lead down to half a lap. Peter arrived on Saturday due to work commitments and had 1 hour to practice in the morning, He automatically was setting the race pace when he took TQ on his first Qualifying run, Peter then did not feel threatened in any of the other qualifying heats so he controlled the rest of the qualifying heats. He also then went on to the final on Sunday. As the 4 minute warmup before the final started we had found a problem in the mesh of gears on the motor, we then had to call a delay at the 3 minute mark so we had time to fix this problem. Peter then had to start out of pitlane which put him last off the grid. Peter then managed to get in second position by the 3 lap mark trying to catch Jessie Davis. Jessie had a half a lap lead which made it a big challenge for Peter. Peter managed to get the lead by the 20 minute mark and then went on to win by 1 lap.

ACT Truggy Titles

"AT Racing Fuel takes 1st and 3rd at the recent 2007 ACT Truggy Titles in Canberra . Dave Burgess took the win and Brad Smith 3rd in the event . As usual the Axe Rossi Cobras performed flawlessly using the AT 25% Nitro Fuel , with not a single flameout all weekend . This was also the first hit out for the XUT in Australia and it proved they are a brilliant Truggy"

Power Grunt Challenge

"We attended the Power Grunt Challenge on the 27/08/07 to run nitro touring. It was an awesome day, the weather was around 21 degrees. We didnt get a practice on the track first up so we went straight on to qualifying. Peter Jovanovic set the pace first up with some very fast lap times. Second qualifier Peter again set the pace with 16 laps in 4m. 57sec with Steven Jovanovic setting the fastest lap of an 18.020 & some how the computer didnt pick up Peters last lap. The third Qaulifier ended up being slower with Steven & Peter having technical issues. Peter still took the TQ position with Steven Qualifing second. The final was 15minutes. Peter got off the line great with about a 1 second lead after the first lap. Peter set a new track record of a lightning fast 17.4 seconds. The next closest lap was a 17.7 from Steven. Peter was around half a lap up when he smashed his car into the sweeper at around the 13minute mark. Peter poped a ball joint off which took around 4 laps to fix. Steven took the win with a 3 lap lead, followed by Peter in second & Simon Fiegal in third. We would like to thank Bendigo club for inviting us down to the event, our sponsors AT Racing fuels,Novarossi Italy & JR Australia."
